Numbers 23:21-24:6

16 verses

Numbers Chapter 23

21He has not seen iniquity in Jacob. Neither has he seen perverseness in Israel. ForeverOne his God is with him. The shout of a king is among them.

22God brings them out of Egypt. He has as it were the strength of the wild ox.

23Surely there is no enchantment with Jacob; Neither is there any divination with Israel. Now it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What has God done!

24Behold, the people rises up as a lioness, As a lion he lifts himself up. He shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drinks the blood of the slain." 25Balak said to Balaam, "Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all." 26But Balaam answered Balak, "Didn't I tell you, saying, 'All that ForeverOne speaks, that I must do?'" 27Balak said to Balaam, "Come now, I will take you to another place; perhaps it will please God that you may curse me them from there." 28Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor, that looks down on the desert.

29Balaam said to Balak, "Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bulls and seven rams." 30Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered up a bull and a ram on every altar.

Numbers Chapter 24

1When Balaam saw that it pleased ForeverOne to bless Israel, he didn't go, as at the other times, to meet with enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.

2Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel dwelling according to their tribes; and the Spirit of God came on him.

3He took up his parable, and said, "Balaam the son of Beor says, the man whose eye was closed says; 4he says, who hears the words of God, who sees the vision of the Almighty, falling down, and having his eyes open: 5How goodly are your tents, Jacob, and your tents, Israel!

6As valleys they are spread forth, as gardens by the riverside, as aloes which ForeverOne has planted, as cedar trees beside the waters.

Ezekiel 1:1-27

27 verses

Ezekiel Chapter 1

1Now it happened in the thirtieth year, in the fourth [month], in the fifth [day] of the month, as I was among the captives by the river Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

2In the fifth [day] of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity, 3the word of ForeverOne came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of ForeverOne was there on him.

4I looked, and behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, a great cloud, with flashing lightning, and a brightness around it, and out of its midst as it were glowing metal, out of the midst of the fire.

5Out of its midst came the likeness of four living creatures. This was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man.

6Everyone had four faces, and each one of them had four wings.

7Their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot; and they sparkled like burnished brass.

8They had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and the four of them had their faces and their wings [thus]: 9their wings were joined one to another; they didn't turn when they went; each one went straight forward.

10As for the likeness of their faces, they had the face of a man; and the four of them had the face of a lion on the right side; and the four of them had the face of an ox on the left side; the four of them also had the face of an eagle.

11Such were their faces. Their wings were spread out above. Two wings of each one touched another, and two covered their bodies.

12Each one went straight forward: where the spirit was to go, they went; they didn't turn when they went.

13As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches: [the fire] went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

14The living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.

15Now as I saw the living creatures, behold, one wheel on the earth beside the living creatures, for each of the four faces of it.

16The appearance of the wheels and their work was like a beryl: and the four of them had one likeness; and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel within a wheel.

17When they went, they went in their four directions: they didn't turn when they went.

18As for their rims, they were high and dreadful; and the four of them had their rims full of eyes all around.

19When the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

20Wherever the spirit was to go, they went; there was the spirit to go: and the wheels were lifted up beside them; for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

21When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up beside them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

22Over the head of the living creature there was the likeness of an expanse, like the awesome crystal to look on, stretched forth over their heads above.

23Under the expanse were their wings straight, the one toward the other: each one had two which covered on this side, and every one had two which covered on that side, their bodies.

24When they went, I heard the noise of their wings like the noise of great waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a noise of tumult like the noise of an army: when they stood, they let down their wings.

25There was a voice above the expanse that was over their heads: when they stood, they let down their wings.

26Above the expanse that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone; and on the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man on it above.

27I saw as it were glowing metal, as the appearance of fire within it all around, from the appearance of his waist and upward; and from the appearance of his waist and downward I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and there was brightness around him.

Section 3

Psalm 120-123

32 verses

Psalm 120

A Song of Ascents.

1In my distress, I cried to ForeverOne. He answered me.

2Deliver my soul, ForeverOne, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.

3What will be given to you, and what will be done more to you, you deceitful tongue?

4Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

5Woe is me, that I live in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!

6My soul has had her dwelling too long with him who hates peace.

7I am for peace, but when I speak, they are for war.

Psalm 121

A Song of Ascents.

1I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from?

2My help comes from ForeverOne, who made heaven and earth.

3He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber.

4Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

5ForeverOne is your keeper. ForeverOne is your shade on your right hand.

6The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

7ForeverOne will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul.

8ForeverOne will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore.

Psalm 122

A Song of Ascents. By David.

1I was glad when they said to me, "Let's go to ForeverOne's house!" 2Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem; 3Jerusalem, that is built as a city that is compact together; 4where the tribes go up, even EverOne's tribes, according to an ordinance for Israel, to give thanks to the name of ForeverOne.

5For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of David's house.

6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper.

7Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.

8For my brothers' and companions' sakes, I will now say, "Peace be within you." 9For the sake of the house of ForeverOne our God, I will seek your good.

Psalm 123

A Song of Ascents.

1To you I do lift up my eyes, you who sit in the heavens.

2Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress; so our eyes look to ForeverOne, our God, until he has mercy on us.

3Have mercy on us, ForeverOne, have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt.

4Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scoffing of those who are at ease, with the contempt of the proud.

Section 4

Galatians 6

18 verses

Galatians Chapter 6

1Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren't tempted.

2Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of the AnointedOne.

3For if a man thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

4But let each man examine his own work, and then he will have reason to boast in himself, and not in someone else.

5For each man will bear his own burden.

6But let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches.

7Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

8For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

9Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up.

10So then, as we have opportunity, let's do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

11See with what large letters I write to you with my own hand.

12As many as desire to make a good impression in the flesh compel you to be circumcised; just so they may not be persecuted for the cross of AnointedOne.

13For even they who receive circumcision don't keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.

14But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus AnointedOne, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

15For in AnointedOne Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision is anything, but [being] a new creation.

16As many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God's Israel.

17From now on, let no one cause me any trouble, for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus branded on my body.

18The grace of our Lord Jesus AnointedOne be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
